Make no mistake, “808 enhancer” is mostly a marketing term in order to draw appeal to this clever piece of software, as this distortion effect is quite versatile and can produce interesting sounds with pretty much anything, you just have to play with it until you find a proper setting for what may end up being something different than what you wanted to do in the first place. If you want a simple distortion effect to quickly add a bit of texture to your sounds, use something else, as this VST has quite an exploratory nature, and does require just a little bit of time to get what you want if you’re very selective. If you’re just starting out, try it, you can get a lot of different things from this VST. I 100% recommend, very fun to use, feels like a wild and complex distortion guitar pedal with an unusual twist. I want more VSTs like this. I like a lot of options, and sometimes too much is too much, but this one has just enough not to be overwhelming.
