Hip-Hop Edition
Who can make the best track?
We want to see who can make the best beat in our community, whether it's Trap, Boom Bap, R&B, etc.
We’re looking for the most creative, hard-hitting track made using the contest kit samples, as long as it's beat focused. (We aren't looking for any EDM tracks this time around.)
You can sprinkle in other Cymatics samples if you want, but make sure the heart of your track comes from the official contest kit.

As a last minute addition to the contest, we decided there will be a Top 25 list for the best entries outside of the grand prize winner!
So the top 25 entries will receive one of these exclusive USBs, loaded with a special surprise.
Keep in mind there will still only be 1 grand prize winner, but we wanted to give the top 25 some shine as well.

Once you've created your track, you will submit your track using our SoundCloud / Facebook submission interface.
All properly submitted tracks will be reviewed by our production team for the judging stages!
Yes you can, as long as they are from other Cymatics packs.
Just try to keep the focus of your entry on the 4 packs we included in the Contest Kit.
We choose the contest winner based upon overall creativity and quality of production.
This criteria is heavily based upon both sound selection and the mix quality of the entry.

You must use elements from the Round 3 Contest Kit to be eligible for this contest.
No illegal/uncleared samples may be used in your entry.
Submit your original song with the following title format: ARTIST NAME - SONG NAME (King of Beats 2025: Hip-Hop Edition)
One entry per person/group.
If you enter as a group, you are not allowed to enter as a solo artist, and vice versa.
You may not enter the contest if you currently work for, or have ever worked for Cymatics LLC.
Cymatics has the right to disqualify any entry.
